Anemia is a medical condition in which the red blood cell count or hemoglobin is less than normal. Both the decrease in production of red blood cells or hemoglobin and the increase in loss or destruction of red blood cells are possible to lead to anemia. The one who suffered anemia is easy to be tired, fatigue. Also, you may appear pale, become short of breath and loss hair. Anemia affects eyesight deeply because of the normal value quantity of blood and oxygen cannot be reached.

Yes, I think it is possible to have some impacts on eyes. Anemia refers to a decrease of red blood cell or lower level of quantity of hemoglobin in blood. It might be caused by excessive blood loss or poor red blood cell production. It might be caused by iron deficiency. Hemoglobin combines with oxygen and carries the oxygen to capillaries so anemia would lead to hypoxia in organs. This would happen to eyes too. With no sufficient blood and oxygen supplied to eyes, you might find dark circles under eyes. Bad blood circulation would lead to damages to cells in eyes which is bad for eyesight. Deficiency of vitamin B-12 would lead to anemia, while B-12 deficiency has many impacts on vision, such as optic neuropathy, cataract and macular degeneration. I suffer from anemia too, so I would like to have more light diet with fresh vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins and lutein.

Anemia is common diseases that for most of people. But most of people often ignore it. People suffer anemia are possible to suffer dizziness, pale skin, leg cramps, insomnia and difficulty to concentrate. Some people even suffer unusually rapid heart beat and easy to fatigue and loss of energy etc. But i never seen that anemia can cause bad eyesight. If you feel your eyesight become worse, you'd better take a exam first. Maybe you just got myopia or something.

Yes, anemia will affect eyesight which will easily cause the bad eyesight. Once you get anemia, your body will lack Fe. You will have the weak immune system. Your eyes will see objects in the blurry state. That is the main reason for your bad eyesight. You'd better have good rest and eat more food with vitamin C. Only having the good body can you have the healthy eyes.
