Red dot in eyes are the prominent symptoms of red eye and eye floater. Eye redness is due to swollen or dilated blood vessels, which cause the surface of the eye to look red, or bloodshot. Eye floaters are really terrible. When you look at something bright, they are so easy to be seen. And if they are much bigger than ever, you may get vision loss gradually and see something unclear. Pink eye is most commonly due to infection, exactly bacteria and virtues enter eyes and cause eye infection. Pink eye has a prominent symptom is redness in eyes. However, these three kinds of eye disorders have a same symptom is eye redness. So the best thing you can do is to visit a doctor and determine the real reasons for your conditions. Before that, no any medical treatment without the introduction of your doctor. And no rubbing or scratching your eyes any more. By the way, stay at home is the best way to avoid further infection.

As far i know, there are a few reasons which can give rise to a red dot in your eyes. Generally speaking, it can stem from the eye infection which leads to your situation. So for your situation, you should not touch your eyes with your dirty hand. And then, just have some cool teabag under your eyes. And it can be effective. On the other hand, it can be the broken blood vessel because there are a multiple of blood vessels in our eyes as well. If they are broken, our eyes can appear a red dot. You should take it easy because it usually go away on its own under such circumstances after a short period of time enough rest and a balanced diet. Certainly, it can also be a symptom of pink eye. But if you suffer from pink eye, you would feel itching. Therefore, I think you can observe your situation and if the situation become worse, you'd better have a physical examination as soon as possible.

Usually, the red dot is a small dot or blood splotch. It may caused by a ruptured blood vessel in the eyes. And this situation can go away itself as time goes by. Also, getting 'clunked in the eye' can also cause a few small blood vessels. this looks terrible. But usually, it doesn't require any specific type of treatment. it can go away on its own. While pink eyes is a kind of eye infection. It will also cause watery eyes, puffy eyes and sore eyes. If you haven't those symptoms, it is not a pink eyes.
