Yes, absolutely. Firstly, our eyes must be one of the most delicate organ in our body. Eyes highly connect to our nerve so that it is very sensitive. Most of the firewoods in the fire can not be burned thoroughly making a lot of smoke .Besides that, they will release a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas in the campfire smoke, called carbon monoxide, whose higher concentrations is toxic to humans and animals. In a campfire full of activities that require intense use of the eyes, then you will decrease your rate of blinking and quick eye movement leading the lack of lubricating your eyeballs and eyelids, what is worse, your various mucous membranes will be dehydrated. And tiny particles, the component of the smoke, will stay on the eyelid or eyeball hurt our eyes. Tired, burning and itching eyes will follow and they are extremely boring . Surely, you will complain of eye fatigue or eye stress and of the discomfort, headaches or double vision. Finally, a certain high temperature may horribly melt the contacts. Then, that gay is blind and it will become a tragedy. It is forbidden to wear contacts to participate in a campfire.

Well, according to what you said, I can see that you are worried about your eye health. So, it is absolutely true that campfire smoke or something like that would definitely make people have watery eyes, and difficult to breath. Anyway, if we get smoke in our eyes, we would begin to have watery eyes, hurt feelings or red eyes, etc. So just try to protect your eyes and take positive approaches. Vitamin pills and a better diet or something.

It is true that campfire smoke is bad for your eyes. According to research, the active time of wood smoke in your body is 40 times longer than that of tobacco smoke. For this fact, you can see that the campfire smoke is more dangerous than second-hand tobacco smoke. If you are near the campfire, you will get the particles of the smoke in your eyes, which will make your eyes dry, stinging, irritated, burning and scratching. You can relieve the discomfort by using eye drops to moisten your eyes and flush out the smoke particles.
