It is really serious for you to suffer keratoconus if you don't treat it well in the healthy way. Your eyes will easily get dry which will make you feel itchy. Your cone thinning of the cornea is the central forward when you get the keratoconus. An eye disease characterized it often cause highly irregular myopic astigmatism and different degrees of visual impairment, without inflammation. It is often happened among women around the age of youth. The early symptom is given priority to with refractive error, for myopia. Then it is gradually developed into astigmatism or irregular astigmatism, general lens can be corrected. The medium-term vision declines further, generally lens not correct. You must use contact lens vision correction and slit lamp examination to see the top of the central cornea gradually thinning, push out and so on. You should have the good rest for the eyes, not sitting in front of the computers for a long time with little rest. In addition, you should use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable and release the symptom.

Keratoconus refers to the degeneration disorder of eye that structural changes in the cornea make it a conical shape other than the normal gradual curvature. At the very early stage, the vision is blurry just like any other refractive defect problems. People can get vision corrected with glasses for reading or driving prescribed by a specialist. However, with its development, the vision acquity dimish at all distances, and people are getting sensitive to the light. Eyes are itching and easily get tired for blinking and squinting more. The night vision is much poorer. Maybe the itching give you the feeling of dryness. There are different options for different stage of keratoconus, like contact lenses or surgical process. And if keratoconus cause dry eyes is still unclear now.
