How long does it take for keratitis to clear up?

My keratitis has been bothering me for a few days. I feel quite uncomfortable about this. Do you guys know how long it takes for it to clear up?

    Keratitis can be caused by the injury and ecclasis of the cornea as well as infection or scratch on the cornea. You can apply hot compress onto your eyes to expand the optical blood vessels and promote the blood flow in the eyes so as to help get rid of the corneal ulcer. Also, you can wash your eyes by physiological saline or 3% boric acid solution so as to clean out the secretion, necrotic tissue, bacteria and the toxin, keeping the eyes in a clean condition. After taking these measures, it usually takes a week or two to clear up the keratitis.
