Can i go from normal glasses to reading glasses?

im farsighted and have been since i was little. lately without my glasses i can't see objects perfectly clear that are closer than 5-6 feet away and with my glasses on i can't see past 5-6 feet away. i was wondering if i could swap to normal reading glasses or would i have to sick to my normal ones that i've been wearing for 5 years.

    It sounds like you need an eye exam and an updated prescription possibly if you have been using the same eyeglasses for five years.It is ok to wear the normal glasses if you feel good on them . It is better for you to visit your doctor before you decide to swith them .
