  If you have styes in your eye, you may find some white or yellow spots that look like hard pimples around your eyes. The styes often appear on one or both eyelids. They are caused by an acute infection. Usually the infection is bought by staphylococcal bacteria. You can also get eye styes by re-infection or cross-infection. So don't squeeze them and let it burst on its own. So do not touch the person who has styes.

  Yes, they are styes. The white or yellow hard lumps on the eyelids are styes. You can take a ring to rub it and clear it up. You can also use alum water to wash the styes on your eyelids. You can dip a teabag in warm water and then place it on your eyes. But I think the easiest way is to place warm compresses on the styes for few minutes several times a day.

  Styes can be described as big lumps with festers in it. If you have styes in your eyes or eyelids, you may suffer from eye pain. There are swelling and redness around the styes. Styes may affect your vision if they are too big. If you have any small lumps or big lumps around or in your eyes, you must see an eye doctor immediately for styes can infect other peoples and need some medical treatment to help them recover soon. Sometimes your doctor will open your styes to allow the festers drain out. And this will make it recover more quickly. But you can't do this by yourself for eyes are one of the most delicate parts of our body, a small infection or damage can cause serious problems. So you must see an eye doctor quickly.

  You can wash your eyes with coriander seed water. You just need to soak the coriander seeds in water for about an hour or more and then strain the seeds. Now you can wash your eyes with the water. You can also use guava leaf to reduce your swelling and pain. You can put wet guava leaves into warm water for 15 minutes and then apply them on your closed eyes for about 10 minutes. These home remedies are said to reduce pain and swelling and help heal styes. You can have a try.

  A stye can be called hordeolum which develops when the gland of our eyes is infected. The stye looks like a pimple on the eyelid. If you find any pimples like a stye on the inside or outside of your eyelids, you'd better see an eye doctor immediately for some exams.

  A stye is an abscess. Usually there are white or yellow pus in a stye. You may suffer from pain eyes at the same time. Sometimes, the painful lumps are on the inside or outside of our eyelids. You may suffer from other symptoms such as watery eyes, red eyes or eyelids at the same time. But the white or yellow lumps can be the sign of styes. Although you can treat it with antibiotics, but I still suggest you to see an eye doctor first. Good luck!

  I have a small stye on the outside of my eyelid. It looks like a pimple and it hurts. But it goes away on its own few days later. My mum told me not to squeeze it for the pus in the pimple will lead to more styes. I suggest you not to share pillow or other stuffs with others for you may infect other. You can apply hot compresses on your eyes for 10-15 minutes 3-4 times every day. Hope this helped!

  There are big lumps on your eyelids. Your eyelids are red and pain. Your eyes are watery at this moment. Dear friend, if you still can't understand what a stye looks like, you can google for eye styes images on the internet and then compare your lumps with the images you find. I think you may possibly have a good understanding in this way.
