Collagen, a kind of small flecks of a protein) on the surface of our eyes caused the floaters. As we age, the collagen fibers and vitreous will shrink and become shred like. This can be one of the reasons why we can see more and more floaters in our vision.

Dear friend, have you had any kind of eye surgeries recently because eye surgeries may lead to eye floaters in our vision. The debris of the cells reflects on the retina of our eyes and makes us see floaters in our vision. The debris need to be washed away by tears. But it will take us some time to have clear and sharp vision after eye surgeries. You need to be patient.

I suggest you to see an eye doctor immediately. If we see a lot of eye floaters in our vision suddenly, we may have posterior vitreous detachment or retinal detachment. But the senior citizens who are over 65 years old are easier to get of posterior vitreous detachment than young people.

If the retina tears, blood escape into the vitreous humour, you may have a shower of eye floaters in your vision. Cataract surgery may lead to eye floaters in your vision. If you have an eye infection, you may suffer from eye floaters too. Any other causes such as uveitis, eye diseases, eye injury may lead to eye floaters. You can keep a healthy balanced diet to provide your eyes with enough nutrients. You can apply some artificial tears to flush your eyes. When you are tired, you need to find a way to relax yourself and your eyes. hope you will be fine soon!

I have developed quite a few floaters in my vision recently. They look like long lines, sometimes they are straight sometimes they are not. They will move with my vision. I visited my eye doctor in the last week. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my eyes. I needn't worry about it. Usually our brain will learn to ignore them. And a few eye floaters will not cause great damages to our eyesight and eye health. Hope this helped!
