I think if we provide our eyes with enough nutrients, our eyes will not degenerate that fast. Fish are good for our eye health. And some fruits that rich in vitamins which are good for our eye health too. Besides, have our eyes checked every year can prevent some eye disease. Hope this helped!

Many senior citizens often suffer from some kinds of eye problems or vision problems such as cataract or presbyopis. As to cataract, we can turn to lasik eye surgery. And meantime, avoid too much exposure to sunlight. As to astigmatism, we can buy a pair of reading glasses to help with this vision problem. So don't worry too much about them. What we need to do is just form a good habit in our daily lives so that we can avoid damaging our eyes.

Protect your eyes from too much sunlight by wearing sunglasses that block ultraviolet (UV) radiation and a hat with a wide brim when you are outside. Healthy habits, like not smoking, making smart food choices, and maintaining a healthy weight can also help protect your vision.
