What are safety glasses and who wears them?

  Safety glasses have another name, goggles. In common, they are made of durability material such as polycarbonate. They are mainly designed for a certain group of people for eye shielding. And there are many different types safety glasses according to their usage. for example, there are baseball goggles, swimming goggle etc. Also, there are goggles that are made to protect people from chemicals in laboratory.

  Safety glasses, also known as goggles, are made to keep eyes safe in some dangerous environment. For example, if you work in a laboratory that with many chemicals, It is better to wear a pair of safety glasses for the the safety of the eyes. Also, For some people who love to play sports such basketball, football, wearing a pair of safety eyeglasses is necessary for shielding eyes from impact.

  As I know that safety eyewear could prevent up to 90 percent of all eye injuries. Safety glasses must conform to a higher standard of impact resistance than regular eyeglasses.This higher standard applies to both the lenses and the frames of safety glasses and goggles.Potential eye hazards against which protection is needed in the workplace are Projectiles,Chemicals,Radiation and Bloodborne pathogens.
