Generally, aspherical lenses are more beautiful, which is because aspherical lenses are flatter and thinner than spherical lenses under the same material and degree. Therefore, most people with higher degree are equipped with aspherical lenses, which are very comfortable to wear.

As far as I am concerned, aspherical lenses are designed to prevent aberration of images that reflected on the lens. In other words, they can prevent image distortion for those who wearing the lenses.

Spherical lenses get thicker edge and make the wearer’s eyes less natural. They could make your eyes look smaller if you have a strong minus prescription. If you pursue a better looking, aspherical lenses should meet your requirements.

For people with mild myopia, wearing spherical and aspherical lenses is almost the same, because there won’t be obvious aberration in image, and the thickness of the lens is about the same. Taking price into consideration, you can choose spherical lenses. However, if your myopia is serious, aspherical lenses should be your best choice because it can reduce the distortion of the image and give a clearer field of view.

Aspherical lens can eliminate the distortion in image, especially for outdoor workers. And the advantages of aspherical lenses occur obviously when the prescription gets stronger, so the lenses of those who have most high-index are aspheric, and the lenses will noticeably be thinner allowing more frame options for the wearer, so I personally recommend aspherical lens.

Aspherical lenses are relatively flat, so they look better aesthetically, also they are precisely designed to optimize the combination of lens degrees. As far as I am concerned, aspherical lenses are thinner and more anti-collision than spherical lenses, those with bad prescription generally choose aspherical lenses for clearer vision and comfort wearing.

Actually I don’t think there is a big difference between them if your prescription power is not very strong. There is a reason that they both exist. You don’t have to care too much about the lens type. I would suggest you paying more attention to the lens index cause it matters more to me.

You should choose whatever lens type that you used to wear. For example, if you used to wear spherical lens, you might feel a little hard to adapt to the new lens if you suddenly change them into aspherical.

I personally prefer aspherical lenses because I have a strong prescription. One of the benefits of them is that they will be thinner than conventional spherical lenses. Besides, they are also lighter. It could be pretty tired after wearing the glasses for a whole day.

Aspherical lenses are better. When I went to the hospital to have my eyes examined, my doctor told me that aspherical lenses have gradually replaced the traditional spherical lenses, because aspherical lenses have become the first choice due to their advantages of being thin, clear and non-distorting. So I suggest to choose aspherical lenses for you.

My myopia is 200 that less than 600 degrees, thus I choose aspherical lenses. However if your degree is above 600, you should consider aspherical lenses for comfortable wearing.

As for me, they don’t have great difference because my prescription is not bad with 150 degrees, so both of them are suitable for me. Uh... if your prescription is serious that exceed 500, I think you’d better choose aspherical lenses because they are thinner and have better wearing feeling.

My son got myopic with 350 degrees when he was in senior high school. I chose spherical lenses for him but he told me that there were distortion of objects when he viewed through the periphery of the lenses. So I changed into aspherical lenses, which work better and bring comfortable wearing. Generally speaking, I recommond aspherical lenses for teenagers like my son.

For people with high myopia, aspherical lenses are not easy to deform image when looking at objects, which can relieve eye strain. I have bad prescription with 600 degrees, my doctor asked me to choose aspherical lenses that are more beneficial to my eyes.

If you are short-sighted within 300 degrees, the spherical lenses can well satisfy your desire whose function of fatigue relief are particularly good. I got short-sighted of 200 degrees, my glasses with spherical lenses are comfortable to wear.

Aspherical lens are better of course. I have been nearsighted for more than 10 years and have not experienced any discomfort by wearing those lens. Uh, I tried spherical lens for one time last year though, they made my eyes look smaller. I guess it’s because I have a strong power, -7.00. You know what, I am gonna stick to aspherical lens.

Spherical lenses have a front surface, which is the spherical surface. It means that they have the same curve across the entire surface, kind of like a baseball. However, aspherical lenses have a more complex front surface which is more like a net. The complexity of aspherical lenses could cause less image aberration. Thus I will pick aspherical lenses.

Based on my experience, it could never be wrong to choose the more expensive product if you cannot tell which one is better. Price is the best judge sometimes. If you pay a little attention, you can find that aspherical lenses are more expensive than spherical lenses with the same index. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying spherical lenses are bad or something. It’s just that we should face the reality.
