What exactly does a Pediatric eye doctor do, as opposed to a regular eye doctor?

My son won't sit still when he has an eye exam.Should we see a pediatric eye doctor? What would the pediatric eye doctor do to make my son calm down?

    To be honest, compared with the regular eye doctor, any doctor who specializes in pediatrics has a better mind set and ability to deal with children on their level. Hope this helps you.
