What bacteria will grow on contact lenses without proper care?

    There are some bacteria such as S. marcesens, S. liquefaciens, P.aeruginosa, Aeromonas hydrophilia, or Stenotrophomonas maltophlia, found on contact lenses if you use them improperly. Then your eyes will get infected if you put these contact lenses in.

    Bacteria such as S. marcesens, S. liquefaciens, P. aeruginosa, Aeromonas hydrophilia, or Stenotrophomonas maltophlia will grow on contact lenses without proper care. These bacteria are thrived in moist areas and can cause serious corneal infections.
