Can the anti-reflection coating cover the entire lens including the edges?

I asked this question cuz there are always some very annoying reflections when I am wearing glasses with lenses with polished edges. If the anti-reflective coating covers the entire lens including the edges, I think my problem can be solved.

The edges on the lens are often cut into the frames, so the anti-reflection coating won't cover the edges. However, you can try not to get your edges polished.

At first the coating does cover the whole lens,but after the lenses are cut, the edges don't have it anymore as the frame is made on them. Polishing the edges may work for you.
