What is the best age to treat amblyopia?

My child was examined to have amblyopia and he is 4 now. Could it be cured at his age?

    The treatment for amblyopia usually has nothing to do with age. However, it is more difficult to treat amblyopia if you are over 15. The best time to treat amblyopia is when you are 5 or 6 years old.

    For amblyopia treatment, the earlier, the better. It will increase the difficulty of treatment if children are older than 12. So it is better to start treatment of your child now.
