How do old people determine if they have cataract?

It is common for old people to have cataract, how can they determine if it is cataract by themselves?

    There are several symptoms to determine whether the old people have got cataract. 1. The prescription power often change. 2. Blurry vision but no pain. 3. haloing or dazzling. 4. Floater symptom.

    If they have the symptoms of double vision or ghosting,presbyopia getting better,poor night vision,they may have cataract.

    If old people find vision changing suddenly, for example, they get double vision or blurry vision suddenly, then they may get cataracts and need to see an doctor right away.
