Is it necessity to get a contact eye exam every year?

My contacts supply is running out and I wonder if I need a contact eye exam to get more or order them online. I got the contacts eye exam almost a year ago.

Yes. Whenever you are planning to get new contact lenses, you should have an eye exam before you get them. Having an eye exam ever year can let you know your prescription is still valid and whether you have developed other eye problems. If you don't want to get contacts from your doctor after you have an eye exam, you can get a copy of your prscription and order them online.

It is better to have a contact eye exam every year to make sure the contacts are still the right prescription and there is not other eye problem like corneal ulcer.
