Will my vision get damaged by clear polycarbonate lens?

I just got the non prescription glasses with polycarbonate lens, but my father said they damage vision even though they are clear lens. Is that true? If so, how long can I wear them so that they won't damage my vision?

Make sure whether you have vision problems. If you need prescription glasses to correct your vision, then the clear polycarbonate lens won't give your clear vision and you vision will get worse if you wear clear lens for long time. If you have perfect vision and need non-prescription , then the clear polycarbonate lens won't damage your vision.

If you have perfect vision and want to wear glasses, you can wear non prescription glasses (also called plano glasses or clear glasses). And such non prescription glasses are just for looks and won't affect your vision. And you can wear it anytime you want.
