Will the photochromic lenses in sunglasses become completely clear indoors?

I just bought a pair of photochromic sunglasses but are not 100% clear indoors and always have a very slight tint in them. Is this normal?

A good photochromic lenses can become completely clear indoors. So it is abnormal to always have a very slight tint in your lenses because the photochromic lenses can change its color only when it hits the UV rays and there is no UV rays indoors. So it may be something to do with the quality of your glasses.

Good quality photochromic sunglasses can get completly clear indoors. Maybe the sunglasses you got are not quite good, so there still is slight tint in the lens.
