Why do I have blurry vision when using too many allergy eye drops?

I am suffering eye allergy and often put in 3 eye drops into each eye in the afternoon. But today they were too itch and I use 5 drops. Now my eyes are really blurry. Will this damage my eyes?

Most eye drops contain preservatives. If you use them too frequently, it can cause a rebound effect. And some eye drops will cause problems if you use them too often.

Most over the counter eye drops contain preservatives and using it excessively may a rebound effect. You can try to use cold ice bags to numb your eyes for comfort. The problem should go away later. If it still exists, you need to see the doctor.
