What should I apply when cleaning glasses with anti-reflective Lenses?

I get a pair of glasses with anti-reflective coating. I wonder can the detergent liquid damage the coating when I wash them with detergent liquid? If not, what should I apply?

To clean AR-coated lenses, you can only use the products that your optician recommends. So you'd better go to your optician and ask what kind of products can be used to wash the glasses with anti-reflective coating. The optician will give you some special products for your anti-reflective glasses. Before wash your glasses, you should wet them first, otherwise it can cause lens scratches.

You should not use the regular detergent liquid as the harsh chemical may damage the anti-reflective coating. There are some special cleaner safe for anti-reflective coating you can get at the optical store or use only products that your optician recommends.

You can use the distilled water to clean glasses with anti-reflective coating. Distilled water has no corrosive. So please do not worry about that.

You should firstly clean them by holding them under cold, running water because the hot water will ruin the coating. Moreover, you can use PH-neutral cleaning agents. A microfiber cloth and a special cleaning agent are recommended for the plastic lenses.
