Alpha adrenergic agonist eye drops that are used to treat glaucoma may have some side effects. You may get red eye, itching eye and dilation of the pupil. So you'd better use it according to the doctor's instructions.

Most eye drops contain preservative and have side effects on your eyes. The most common side effects include red eye, itching and dilation of the pupil. But it should be fine when you stop use them.
