Is it worth to get laser eye surgery with a -2.00 prescription?

I have been wearing contacts for 2 years but now I am a little irritating to them. I also hate glasses. My friend suggests me to get laser eye surgery. But I don't think -2 is that bad, and laser eye surgery costs so much. I don't want to waste my money.

I think it is worth to get laser eye surgery with low prescription. Although the laser eye surgery is expensive now, it can save much money that will you use on glasses and contact lenses in the long run. Once, the surgery have successfully cured your lazy eye, your vision can't be affected by the lazy eyes.

Compared with money, I would rather have a perfect vision. I would admit that the surgery is expensive, but no longer have to spend money on glasses or contacts if you have your lazy eye treated. In the long run, you will also spend much money on glasses or contacts and the glasses or contacts cannot correct your vision to normal. If I were you, I would choose to have the surgery.

I think it is not worth to get lasik surgery with a -2.00 prescription. Your vision is not that bad and doesn't need to wear glasses all the time. Just wear them when you need such as watching TV or driving. If it doesn't bother you a lot, don't pay that much to have lasik surgery.

I think you need to think about this problem in overall. Though lasik surgery costs an arm and a leg, you should also pay for glasses or contact lenses all your life. The cost would not less than that for lasik surgery. So if I were you, I would get the surgery.

I think it is not only the matter of money, you should also look into the risks and benefits of lasik surgery. What percentage chances you have of making yoru eyesight worse or better and whether you are ready for the surgery complication. So ask yourself and then you may have the conclusion.
