Who is more likely to get diabetic retinopathy?

I want to know what people have a higher chance to get diabetic retinopathy.

    People who have had diabetes for many year are more likely to get diabetic retinopathy than normal people. If they also have high blood pressure, the chance can be higher.

    Genearlly old people with diabetes have higher risk to get diabetic retinopathy than young people. Overweighted people are more likely to get diabets so they have a higher chance to get diabetic retinopathy.

    People who have fluctuating blood sugar levels have a higher risk of diabetic retinopathy. People who have diabetes for a very long time, like for 10 years may develop diabetic retinopathy.
