Why is my vision duller in one eye than the other?

I have astigmatism and I wear glasses. When I cover my right eye, my left I can see fine but it is duller than when I look out by using the right eye. Could this be a change in my prescription? Do I need to worry about it?

I think it has nothing to do with your prescription. Most of us have a dominant eye and it is somewhat similar to our dominant hands. You can test it in a room with exactly balanced lighting all around so there is no more light entering one eye than the other. You will find you can hardly have the same vision in both eyes. So it is quite normal.
