Is it normal to have yellow in my eye colour?

My eyes are blue but I have a little bit of yellow in them, you can only notice if you stand really close to me. The yellow is in my iris not the white part of my eye. Is that normal? Can it be any sign of eye disease?

There are several possible causes of yellow in the iris. Inflammation inside the eye; loss of the some of the pigment making it look yellow or dull; circulation changes to the iris like diabetes and cholesterol. Any of these possible causes need to be examined by an eye doctor, Board Certified Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. If it is a change that has happened recently, then you should get it checked soon.

Yes. It's normal. Don't worry about it. It is called Hazel which is multiple colors in the iris, like blue, green, gold, etc. My mom also have eyes kind of like that.
