What are the disadvantages of colored contact lenses?

  Sometimes colored contact lenses won't fit your eyes properly and may slide off the pupil because your pupil may change its size constantly to accommodate the changing light condition. So in this case, it will reveal the truel color of your eyes and affect the look of your eyes

  Some people's eyes may be allergic to colored contact lenses, so it can cause redness and irritation of the eye. Moreover, colored contact lenses are less permeable, so little oxygen can get into the eye. At last, it can lead to reduced corneal nutrition.

  Colored contacts are not suitable for everyone. People who have more diopters or astigmatism can not find the right colored contact lenses to fit their eyes. What's more, colored contact lenses are not suitable for driving in poor light.
