No,cataract won't come back after cataract surgery. I heard that the cataract surgery will permanently removing the cloudy natural lens from the eye if you have a successful cataract surgery. After the cataract surgery, there will be a period called "posterior capsule opacity" or "after cataract" that appear vision reduction, but that is not means the cataract come back. It is normal.

For general senile and complicated cataract, patient will not suffer cataract again after intracapsular cataract extraction. If you did not use this kind of surgery, for example, you suffered congenital and traumatic cataract and choose to cut capsule suck out operation. After the surgery, the residual former capsule will stick with the back capsule, at the end , the cataract happens again.
