In the past, the usual remedy for presbyopia was to wear reading glasses or special multifocal lenses (bifocal or progressive). But now a new eye surgery technique has proven excellent at eliminating a common vision condition affecting most middle-aged and elderly people. You can get monovision LASIK, with one eye corrected for near vision and the other for far.

Presbyopia is a natural age change that will lose the ability to focus on close objects. And they can comfortably be corrected by the way of wearing reading glasses. Nowadays, there are some laser eye surgery that may be capable of treating presbyopia. The current methods that can be used are CK treatment, Monovision laser, laser blended vision and Kamra vision inlays. However, it is also said that the surgery will not prevent the need for reading glasses in patients over 40 years of age. So you may ask some doctor for professional advice and incidentally take a eye check.
