Different from soft contact lenses, toric contact lenses have a stronger suction because the lens must remain perfectly still accommodate astigmatism. So you must break the suction between your eyes and contact lenses. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before removing them. Hold your lower eyelid between your thumb and index finger. By moving the lens slightly off center, the suction power of the lens is reduced. Gently grasp one side of the lens with the index finger and the other side of the lens with the thumb. Squeeze the thumb and index finger together gently until the suction of the toric lens is broken. The lens should easily come out of the eye.

Toric contact lenses are made of the same soft or rigid materials as regular contact lenses. So, it makes you fell just like normal contacts. The lenses in toric contacts are different from normal contacts by offering two curvatures at different angels to compensate for astigmatism and for either nearsightedness or farsightedness. So you still should attention to the axially, when you take them out from your eyes, never place in the wrong case, and when you wear them, you must make sure it is the right angel. And if your astigmatism is less than 0.75, you needn't toric contacts. Normal contacts are also fit for you. And RGP is also a way to correct your astigmatism.

The toric contact lenses touch eyes directly, you have to wash hands and dry them. Then, filling halfway of contact solution into your case before you take your contact lenses out of eyes. Next, using your right index finger to pull up your left upper eyelid, and using the middle finger of your left hand to pull your left lower eyelid down. In the following, you need to look up and pluck it out. After that, you do the same thing for the left eyes' contact lens. And you put the contact lenses in the palm of your hands to drench them in contact solution to flip them over. Lastly, putting them into the case with the right side and add some contact solution to soak contact lenses in solution. You had better to take contact lenses off every day for cleaning, and don't wear them when sleeping. Most of the contact solutions can be expired within one month after starting use of it. What is more, the case needs to be changed every three month.

The toric contact lenses are made for those who have astigmatism problems with their eyes. However, it is mostly the same with the normal contact lenses in material and usage. Therefore, you can use the same way to remove your toric contact lenses. Firstly, remember to wash your hands carefully before removing the lenses. Then, use your finger to remove them out from each eye. Try to be very careful and avoid long nail, which may hurt your eyes. At last, clean the toric contact lenses and put them into some cases with drops to store them. That's all and hope it will help you.
