Cataract is a common blinding reason. As we know, people eyes have an organization called the lens. Under the normal circumstances, it is transparent which can let the light go through it and some refractive interstitial reach the retina. That is why we can clearly see the outside world objects. However, once the lens for some reason occurs cloudy which will affect retinal imaging. That is why the person can't see things clearly. That is to say, lens opacity cause vision loss in cataract. It is strongly suggested that when we are diagnosed with cataract, we should accept the timely treatment. At the same time, we should pay attention to avoid long-term excessive use of eyes. Usually the cataract surgery is safe and effective if we find the good hospital. However the glaucoma is a kind of cataract which will be happened a lot among the old people. The possibility of getting the glaucoma after the cataract surgery is little.
