  A scratched cornea is called a corneal abrasion in medical terms. It can be very painful. A corneal abrasion is a scratch on the clear surface of the eye that covers the colored portion of the organ known as the iris. A scratch on the cornea can potentially be very serious. But it is lucky that it helps that the cornea is the fastest-healing tissue in the human body. The scratched eyes are just like the broken crystal ball with a crack. You should eat more food with protein and vitamin C and A to complement the nutrition to the eyes. If it is cured well, you'd better go to the hospital and have a full check on the eyes, getting aviod of serious worse situation.

  Firstly, you would always feel there is something in your eye, even if there is nothing in there. And you attempt to rub your eyes to remove the object. And you would feel pain and burning because the injury to the delicate corneal tissue. At the same time, your eyes are more sensitive to light, especially on a sunny day. What is more, your vision would also become blurred because of the scratched eye. But it not permanent and would be resolved when the injury is healed.

  Well, it seems that you are quite concerned about your eyes , lest that they should be impaired. Anyway, as far as I know, if someone has got a scratched eye, your eyes appear to be bloody and very horrible, just like painted with red paint. Anyway, that is very serious,which needs intensive medical treatment and care, so as long as you don't want them, you should pay more attention to your eyes.
