Zinc is really good for eyes. It is a mineral which is helpful to the immune system. It could keep our eyes healthy and it can help decrease the risk of cataracts, night blindness and age-related macular. Zinc has been approved to help our bodies absorb vitamin A and antioxidants. Antioxidant enzymes could reduce the number of free radicals which is underlying cause for chronic diseases. We could get zinc from many kinds of food, incluing oysters, beef, eggs, black-eyed pea, tofu and so on. Nuts and seeds are very good zinc resources too. But you need to talk to your doctor to make sure do you need zinc supplementary. Because too much zince intake ( beyond 100mg per day) will cause adverse effect to our bodies.
