Well, i am so sorry to hear that you have got corneal ulcer, which is one of the most serious diseases we might get in our lifetime. So, as you can see, corneal ulcer is also divided into different types, however, most of corneal ulcer types are contagious according to a lot of clinic cases. I quite understand that you are afraid of transmitting it to other people. However, as long as you keep the things you touched away from other people. it is ok.

I am ready to tell you that corneal ulcer is not contagious and you do not need to stay at home. A corneal ulcer is damage on the cornea as a result of an infection of a type of bacteria, virus, or fungus, such as herpes simplex infection or infection of the virus that causes chickenpox and shingles. Allergies or other eye conditions such as conjunctivitis, contact lenses can also cause corneal ulcers. Under such circumstances, you need to go to hospital to receive a prompt treatment, otherwise you may have corned scarring, permanent visual impairment, or even a hole in the cornea. Wish you be better soon.

Corneal ulcers are not contagious and you have no need to stay at home, but it is necessary to treat it in time, to avoid deterioration. The corneal ulcer could develop into serious problem which you should take notice of. You could treat it by eating a lot of nutritious food, staying at home and not going out to meet the sunshine. The sunshine will make your eyes get more damage because of the uv. If you have to go out, you need to wear a pair of sunglasses.
