Well, it seems that you want to take a laser eye surgery in order to regain your impaired vision. So, as a matter of fact, the effect of the surgery depends on several factors, such as the quality and type of the surgery you are going to take. And it has something to do with your future use of eyes, which means that you have to take care of them. Generally speaking, it would last about one or two decades, on average. Anyway, it is helpful for you.

well, generally speaking, laser eye surgery can last forever only if your eye situation are not damaged by other factors. so in other words, the protection of your eyes can be very important, especially in the several months after the surgery. After the surgery, you should not let dirty things get into your eyes, infecting your eyes, or it can make your situation worse. Also, some heavy exercises should be avoided. By the way, you should not overuse your eyes by watching too much tv and computer. Anyway, just be careful about it.

No, if you don't take care of the eyes in the proper way, you will find that your bad eye vision will come back after the laser eye surgery. It is not forever at the right vision. Your poor vision in future can be back because of the not proper care for the eyes. Thus, you'd better have the good habit of using eyes and diet to keep eyes moisture.
