Well, yes, it is possible to have Photophobia because of astigmatism, which is merely a visual condition of the eye that is caused by its shape. First, Astigmatism can result in an eye that has two different powers, and because of it, you will feel blurred vision. Also, Photophobia may occur too. To treat it, contact lens designed for astigmatism can do a better job to correct the astigmatism. So you can just have a try.

Well, it seems that there is something wrong with your eyes. So, as a matter of fact, astigmatism could not give rise to photophobia according to a lot of cases. So, according to what you said, I suspect that there are some problems with your eyes, maybe some infections or allergy. So, I suggest that you go to get your eyes examined in a hospital. However, actually, there is no way to cure astigmatism, you could only try to prevent it from worsening. Try to protect your eyes.
