Well, the chance of getting blindness can be very low, so you do not need to worry about it. First, the chance of blindness comes generally from damage to the optic nerve, but this type is nearly impossible with eyelid procedures. Also, it occurs, when severe hemorrhage that may get trapped behind the eye and compress the optic nerve. On the other hand, you still need to pay more attention to your eyes, for it can lead to some eye problems, after the surgery. For example, it can lead to eye infection. And then dry eyes, red eyes, double vision can occur because of it. So just be careful about it.

Yes, it is possible for you to get blindness because of blepharoplasty because of the coming invisible bacterium. You should protect the eyes carefully. You should drink more water and have the good rest for the eyes. You could use the warm compress to make the eyes feel comfortable. You need to take some actions to protect your eyes.

Yes, it is possible to get blindness because of blepharoplasty. We know that blepharoplasty is a surgery to remove extra tissue of eyelids for functional or cosmetic purpose. As technology developes, plus blepharoplasty is not a complicated surgery, most cases are done safely. Blindness from blepharoplasty is possible mainly for bleeding in eyes which will cause pressure build up in eyes and finally lead to optic nerves damaged and vision loss. However, it is extremely rare so far, only 1 case in 800, 000 reportedly. And bleeding is mostly to happen in 3 hours after this surgery, during that time the surgeon will request the patient to stay in hospital to monitor the situation. Even if it is bleeding, as long as if it is detected early, it can be stopped and the pressure could be relieved through procedure.
