Well, yes, it is possible to cause styes when you wear old contact lenses. Wearing old contact lenses may make your eyes infected, and at the moment, it is easy for your eyes to have styes. And when you have a stye, you may be suffering from watery eyes, pain, tenderness, itching, or redness. Your eye may feel bruised and sensitive to light. So just go and see the eye doctor as soon as possible. And generally speaking, medicated eye drops or antibiotic ointments may help cure the infection and then cure styes.

Yes, it is possible for you to cause the styes from wearing the old contact lenses because of the eyes infection. As we know, the styes may be caused by the invisible bacterium. When you wear the old contact lenses, your eyes may get the infection easily because of the lack of water content. You could use some eye drops to release the symptom. You should not wear the old contact lenses any more. You could use the warm compress to make your eyes feel comfortable. You should just choose the clean cloth and some hot water to make your eyes feel comfortable. You will be comfortable at the eyes if you do the home remedies to treat it.
