Lazy eyes is caused when something disrupts the normal development of vision. Lazy eyes have the following conditions. First, squint can cause lazy eyes. Second, the structure of the eye is not right, which will lead to the light rays coming into the eye being not properly focused. As far as I know, it can be worse as aging.

There is no denying that lazy eyes will get worse as aging. Lazy eyes usually develops when one eye has much better focus than the other one. When one is nearsighted or suffers from astigmatism in one eye, then he is likely to have lazy eyes. In addition, an ocular misalignment, strabismus can give rise to lazy eyes because when one eye turns inward or outward, one cannot focus the eyes on an object, resulting in double vision; under such circumstances, the brain chooses to ignore the image from the deviated eye so that the vision becomes worse in that eye. Also, a cataract or a small amount of blood in the back of the eye can lead to see uncleanly.

Lazy eyes will definitely get worse if you do nothing to treat it. This disease mostly affects children. It occurs when the brain has problems connecting to the eye therefore the signals are not properly communicated. If diagnosed early, then options exist to treat it successfully and prevent future problems. Once people get lazy eyes, they need to cure them as soon as possible, the doctor will offer prescription. Avoid to read with dim light or strong light.
