Can dry eyes cause eye twitching?

Is it possible to lead to eye twitching because of dry eyes? Why or why not?

    Eye twitching is a repetitive, uncontrollable blinking or spasm of the eyelid, usually the upper lid, which usually affects the eye muscles of both eyes. Dry eye is one of the most common, although not serious, eye conditions of middle aged people and it greatly interferes with the quality of life. Dry eye is possible to cause eye twitching because it can increase eye pressure which makes people feel unwell and lead to muscles discharge.

    Yes, it is very possible. Dry eyes can make your eyes twitch. Actually there are more than half of the older population experiences dry eyes because they are getting older and older. What's more, dry eyes are a trigger for blepharospasm, which can make your eye twitch too. Besides dry eyes, pollen, irritation can also cause eye twitching. So pay attention to that!

    Yes, it is very possible for you to get eye twitching because of dry eyes. The twitching eyes are mostly caused by the lots of use of eyes in front of the computers and other electric products. The eye twitching may be caused by the eyes infection which precondition is dryness. You could use some eye drops to release the symptom.
