Wolfgang Ley himself served as the salesman, financier and production and marketing director, while his wife was asked to develop the fashion concept, which has been succeeded even after her death.

In 1986, Escada was listed on the Frankfurt and Munich exchanges. After over three decades’ progression, Escada now has an enrollment scale of 1,300 employees and keeps stable control of its manufacturing facilities.
