More info about her
Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her roles on the WB series Everwood as Amy Abbott and on the ABC series Brothers & Sisters as Rebecca Harper. She currently stars as Emily Thorne in the ABC drama series Revenge.
VanCamp appeared in the short film Rings, which bridged the gap between The Ring and The Ring Two, the latter of which saw her reprising her character from the aforementioned short film. She also appeared in the film Black Irish as Kathleen.
The role for which VanCamp is perhaps best known is her character Amy Abbott in the WB Television Network's drama Everwood. In 2007 she was a guest star in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
In 2007, VanCamp joined the cast of Touchstone Television's large ensemble series Brothers & Sisters as a regular late in the first season, a move that marks her second teaming with Executive Producer Greg Berlanti from Everwood. VanCamp's character, Rebecca Harper, was introduced as the daughter of the late William Walker and his long-time mistress, Holly Harper. In 2008, a DNA test proved Walker was not her father. In early 2010, it was announced that VanCamp would appear in three episodes in Season 5 to wrap up her character's storyline. In 2009, she starred in a post-apocalyptic movie Carriers. She starred in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, titled Beyond the Blackboard, with her former Everwood co-star, Treat Williams, which aired on CBS, April 24, 2011.
