• How does eyeglasses correct vision problem?

  Eye glasses work in the same manner whether they are for nearsightedness or farsightedness. The eye glass lens is curved so that it bends the light rays that hit your eyes so you can see images clearly. Nearsighted individuals cannot clearly see things that are distant. This happens because the light rays come into focus in front of the retina. Farsighted individuals have the opposite problem. The shape of their eyes causes the light rays to come into focus behind the retina, causing things that are near to them to be out of focus. Some people have blurry vision due to an astigmatism, or a condition where the curvature of the eye is irregular, creating a second focal point within the eye. • Do the eyeglasses online only come with frames????

  As I know that most of online optical stores sell glasses not only with frames but also with the whole pair( frames and lenses in) ,so you don't need to take it to your opticians to put lenses in. You can have your eyes tested and get a prescription from your eye doctor, enter your prescripion online at the store you prefer, then they can start to process the eyeglasses prescribed with your prescription.

• Is there any pain after the lasik surgery?

  There would be little pain after the lasik surgery and the recovery time is depending on yourself, usually it takes few days to weeks for healing the cornea. In fact, the cornea will never heal to its original condition, but it will restore itself to the point than can ensure you to the best vision.

• Is there any kind of lenses that can block glare at night?

  Some people wear sunglasses or polarized glasses to reduce glare when they drive at night. I am not sure whether they do work well. In my opinion, the best choice for night driving is to get a pair of eyeglasses with clear lenses and add an AR coating to the lenses, which will help block glare while driving at night.

• Can I return the prescription eyeglasses I purchased online?

  That will depend on the condition why you want to return your prescription eyeglasses. What's more, different stores have different rules on return and refund. I am sure most stores will ask you to pay for the shipping cost if you return your glasses that you buy online.

• What kind of sunglasses are good for me?

  Dark tinted color lenses can protect you from brightness, such as brown/gray/green.Polarized lenses could also prevent you from glare. If you often work outdoors, you'd better choose these kinds of lenses.

• Is keratoconus a refractive error?

  Keratoconus is a progressive eye disease in which the normally round cornea thins and begins to bulge into a cone-like shape. This cone shape deflects light as it enters the eye on its way to the light-sensitive retina, causing distorted vision.
