• How long will it take for the eye prescription to be stable after lasik surgery?

  Generally it may take 6 months but can be longer if your eye condition is not good.If you are very worried,you can have a check to your eyes.

• Is there a machine taht can measure your prescription automatically?

  The eye doctor will give you a complete eye exam including the machine that he will use to automatically measure your prescription and the eye chart which he will combined with the machine to determine your accurate prescription.

• Is it better to wear a slightly weaker glasses than your eyes prescription?

  Since you feel dizzy at closer objects with your original prescription, you should take your doctor's advice to wear a slightly weaker glasses which you can get used to quickly. Once my doctor suggested me wear weaker glasses that I can see more clearly than my original prescription. And I feel comfortable when I wear them all day now. So I think it is better to wear a slightly weaker glasses.

• What is the worst prescription for my eyes?

  If you have a good habit of using eyes and keep a strong body,I think the worst prescription should be no more than -8.5.Ask your doctor for more suggestion to prevent your eyes from getting worse.

• Is it ok for children to wear anti-glare glasses?

  Children are able to wear anti-glare glasses if they do need. However, the anti-glare coating may be easy to get damaged because children are too careful and can't take good care of them.

• What is the eye prescription if I have good vision?

  I think you need the non prescription lenses.You can ask the service staff to help you.

• Would it make a difference if I have eye exam in the morning or evening?

  You may see better in the morning but the prescription will not change if you have eye exam in the evening.

• How bad can your eye prescription be if you are legally blind?

  Legally blind has nothing to do with the prescription numbers. Legally blind means that your best vision cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses any better than 20/200. A normal person with 20/20 vision can see objects clearly that is 200 feet away from him, while the legally blind person can only see the object clearly that is 20 feet away from him. A legally blind person can't see objects clearly that is very far or close.
