• Why do I feel hard to focus with my new glasses?

  You should take your contacts out a day or two before your annual exam so that they can test the real condition of your eyes. The exam will detect whether you have got any eye problems or whether your vision has become worse or not.

  To relieve computer eye strain, you'd better get a pair of computer glasses which are specially designed for computer use.

• Are computer glasses the same as reading glasses?

  No. They have different purposes. Reading glasses are used to magnify at near distance. People with presbyopia use reading glasses to help them focus on the near objects. While computer glasses are designed for the distance from the eye to the screen so that people can feel comfortable to view the computer screen. Wearing computer glasses while using a computer can prevent the CVS.

• Will sunlight harm your eyes after dilation drops?

  Yes. More sunlight including the harmful light will get into your eyes after dilation. Then it will cause damage to your eyes. To avoid this, you should wear protective glasses when you go outside.

• Are contact lenses uncomfortable at first?

  Yes. When you wear contacts for the first time, you may find uncomfortable in your eyes. It is quite normal to have that feeling because you need time to get used to them.

• What would happen if I accidentally wore soft contacts to sleep?

  If you sleep with soft contacts, they will dry your eyes out and make them irritable when you wake up in the morning. You may get eye infection because the contacts in your eyes will get dry and dirty. And you may feel pain to take them out.

• Are titanium eyeglasses more expensive than others?

  It is a little expensive for a pair of titanium eyeglasses to cost $1000. Generally titanium eyeglasses should cost no more than $500. But if it is a desinger one, it is normal for that price.
