• In what situation shouldn't I wear my extended contacts?

  You'd better not wear extended contacts when you are in front of the computer. Don't wear them when you go underwater or take a shower. If you have any discomfort or irritation, stop wearing them.

• Do I need an eye exam for the serious migrane?

  Migraine can be caused by many different factors, it is better for you to have a thorough exam including eye test to find the real cause.Some people do find that their migraine is worse or more frequent if their glasses are out of date.

• Can I get lasik refractive surgery correction after cataract surgery?

  You can do it but there may be a higher risk to get lasik surgery. If you insist to have the surgery, you should choose an experience surgeon and know all the risk of it. In my opinion, I would not suggest you to get lasik surgery. Glasses are not that bad.

• Can I get free eye exam if my grandma has glaucoma?

  NO. You are only entitled to get free eye exam if your are over 40 and your close relatives such as sisters,parents have glaucoma according to NHS.

• What can I do if I get something in my eye when wearing contact lenses?

  Never rub your eyes when you get something in them. Close your eyes and blink several times, they should be shifted out of your eyes. If you still feel they are there, take out the contacts and wash your eyes with clean water.

• Is there any treatment for color blindness?

  I have heard that eyeglasses designed to help people with colorblindness. You just use a tinted lens in one of your eyes, usually in your non dominant eye, and that%u2019s it. In this case both eyes actually see different colors and because of that the brain can extract some other information out of certain colors. You can also use two different tints in each of your eyes. This depends very much on ones personal impression. But I am not sure where you can buy it. • Can an anti-refection coating be added to the lens after the glasses have been cut?

  Anti-reflection coating are usually added to the uncut lenses, and then they are made according to the frame shape. So there is no way to add it to the already cut lens, you need to order new lenses with anti-refection coating.

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of high index lenses?

  The most benefit of high index lenses is they are much thinner and lighter than standard lenses. You will feel more comfortable and have clearer view with them But they are much expensive than regular lenses.
