• Why do I have redness in my eyes when I use computer?

  The redness is caused by the eye strain after you use your computer. I won't suggest you use eye drops to get rid of it. I think the best way is to take regular breaks during using the computer, which can make your eyes relax and relieve from the eye strain.

• What can I do about tired eyes when I have much reading?

  If your eyes get tired after reading a lot, you can stop to do some eye exercises to have your eyes relaxed. Doing eye exercises can strengthen the eye muscles and keep your eye healthy.

• Why aspheric contacts are better than regular ones?

  Aspheric contact lenses are prescription lenses for people with borderline astigmatism. Compared to regular contacts, they are much slimmer and flatter. So they are usually more expensive than regular contacts.

• Are titanium eyeglasses more expensive than others?

  It is a little expensive for a pair of titanium eyeglasses to cost $1000. Generally titanium eyeglasses should cost no more than $500. But if it is a desinger one, it is normal for that price.

• What would the doctor check in an eye exam?

• Can prescription glasses be tinted to make sunglasses?

  It is possible to have prescription glasses tinted just like sunglasses. You can take your prescription glasses to your optical store where you bought them and ask them to tint your glasses. You just choose the color that you want and then they will tint your glasses according to your needs.

• Can I use reading glasses to watch tv?

  NO,you can't use reading glasses to watch TV. Reading glasses are prescribed to correct near vision(the distance is about 10 inches). You need to get a separate pair of prescription glasses for distant view.

• Are contact lenses uncomfortable at first?

  Yes. When you wear contacts for the first time, you may find uncomfortable in your eyes. It is quite normal to have that feeling because you need time to get used to them.
