  An ophthalmologist get specialized training in ophthalmology, so they are able to do surgery and prescribe medicine.They often treat eye diseases. While an optometrist can only prescribe glasses and contacts. That is to say, they often treat vision problem.

• Can I go swimming with my contacts in?

  You'd better not.If your contacts fall into the water,I guess there is no way to find them out.

• Did I get a pink eye?

  Don't be afraid of that, your eyes are only slightly infected, just leave it to be or put put some eye drops into your eyes, don't rub or itch them anymore. • Can I wear prescription sunglasses over prescription contact lenses?

  You'd better not, under this situationm the prescription will be added to a strong power which is relatively higher than that of your original power, thus to lead you to more serious vision problem. But it is OK to wear prescription sunglasses over non-prescription contacts or to wear non-prescription sunglasses over prescription contacts to add UV protection, fashion element and convenience.

• What is the problem with my contact lenses?

  Maybe it is because your contact lenses are dirty and you don't wash them clean. Or some foreign substance get into your eyes and then your eyes get infected.
