How to remove the anti-glare coating from my glasses?
I don't know how to remove the anti-glare coating from the glasses. You'd better take your glasses to your optician. Their lab will use a special acid to do that.
Is it worth to pay the additional money for anti-glare coating?
For me,I would pay the extra $5 to get an anti-glare coating.It can protect your eyes better,why not?
How long can anti glare coating last on eye glasses?
If you pay enough care to it and don't make it scratched,it can last as long as many years.You should be especially careful when cleaning it.I have a pair of anti-glare glasses and they are in the third year now.
Will the Windex ruin the anti-glare coating?

If you want to wear your glasses all day, then you can choose transition glasses. If you just want to the glasses that can reduce the glare, then you should choose the anti-glare glasses.

Yes you can.Take your glasses to nearby optical store and ask them to add the coating for you.But it may cost more to have the coating only.
