• Is it necessary to wear protective eyeglasses when doing my gardening chores?

  If you can make sure that your eyes won't get injured and the branches won't poke your eyes, there is no need to wear protective eyeglasses.

• What kind of contacts should I choose?

  To keep your eyes healthy, I think the monthly contacts is a good choice for you though they are more expensive than the yearly. However, the advantage o fthe monthly contacts is that there will be few deposits, especially proteins, on the lenses because you replace the lens very often. While the yearly contacts may have many deposits on the lens due to overtime use. The deposits can make your vision blurry and sometimes they can lead to chronic inflammation. So you'd better choose the monthly contacts.

• Can my vision get worse if I wear my glasses all the time?

  Wearing glasses all the time won't worsen your vision or make you depend on your glasses. We wear glasses just because it give us clear vision so that we can see better and feel better. So if you need, then you can wear your glasses all the time.

• Is it possible for a 18-year-old person to get lasik surgery?

  The doctor is right.If your son's vision is not stable,it is not suggested to have lasik surgery,otherwise his vision will still keep changing after the surgery.

• How often should a 50-year-old man have an eye exam?

  It is suggested to have an eye exam every year.Because as people age,the chance of developing eye disease is much higher than the young.Some disease can happen without being noticed.

• What are the benifits of anti-reflective coating on glasses?

  Just as the name suggest,the anti-reflective coating can reduce the lights that come into your eyes to avoid the damage caused by harmful lights. Obviously it is better to get anti-reflective coating.

• How long should I wait to wear new makeup if I have conjunctivitis?

  For safe reason,you should wait as long as possible. Perhaps one month after the recovery.You can ask your doctor before wearing makeup.

• What is the age limit to wear contacts?

  There is no age limit to wear contacts.But for some young children,they may have difficulty in putting them in and getting out.It is necessary to have an eye exam to determine if one is a good candidate to wear contacts.If the doctor approves,then your son can wear contacts.
